Summary
As an IT Support Engineer Apprentice, will join our small but skilled IT team, primarily providing 1st line support, with opportunities to gain exposure to 2nd line tasks as skills develop. This role is designed to provide structured handson training, allowing you to develop practical IT skills while working towards a recognised Level 3 certificate

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and assist users with macOS, iOS, and Windows devices.
• Troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues daily.
• Administer and provision user accounts across multiple platforms.
• Document and manage problems and work requests using the Incident Management System.
• Respond to user queries via telephone, email, instant messages, and tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve problems through discussions with users, log analysis, and research.
• Participate in ongoing training and routine maintenance updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Provide onsite support to clients when required.
• You will provide support during UK business hours, with opportunities to collaborate on global projects under supervision.
• Supporting users with varying computer literacy

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who is eager to build a career in IT. The ideal candidate will have:
• A strong interest in IT, problem-solving, and learning is essential with a basic knowledge of computers, networking, or troubleshooting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• The ability to work on one's own initiative as well as part of a team to resolve all client's issues.
• Be driven and enthusiastic to succeed
• Able to handle challenging customer service scenarios with patience and skill.
• Possess strong English skills, both written and spoken.
• At least 5 GCSEs (A–C / 4-9), including Math’s and English.

Your training plan
You will receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills.
Your training will include gaining a Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualifications
