Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
As a Business Support/Customer Service Apprentice, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
· General office duties, administration, customer service enquiries;
· Assist in the postal room;
· Chase up quotes and log sales information;
· Build business relationships by telephone and explain our products and role in the market;
· Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail;
· Assist with website management;
· To request written quotes from suppliers for materials to be delivered to our premises;
· The use of relevant software packages;
· Assist with marketing campaigns;
You’ll develop your skills alongside the management team and experienced admin workers, learning a variety of duties and supporting the whole business to grow. You’ll be taught and mentored by people who are well versed in academia, to achieve your full potential and share in the company’s success.

- Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
- Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate patience and calmness.
- Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
- Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
- Maintain informative communication during service recovery.
Your training plan
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group both remotely and from one of their campuses, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Business/Customer Support Apprentice.
