Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Operate and maintain cutting machines for precise material preparation.
  • Assist in the production of textile components for evacuation chairs.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet high standards.
  • Support machinists with assembly and fabrication tasks.
  • Prepare and organise materials for efficient production workflows.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet manufacturing deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
  • Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to improve processes.
  • Document work and report on production progress.
