An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has become available with a chance to work alongside a leading dental software company, helping provide financial administrative support within the business. You will also process and record financial transactions accurately as well as other duties whilst working towards a recognised level 2 AAT qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Provide administrative support to the financial services department
- Assist with client onboarding and account management processes
- Process and record financial transactions accurately
- Maintain client files and records
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person
- Learn about and comply with industry regulations and company policies
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required

Course contents
- Record transactional data.
- Use the organisation’s standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
- Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
- Record transactional data.

Your training plan
- AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting
- The training will take place online, two hour class every two weeks, two hour meeting with coach every six weeks and a sync
- Training will take place during the week and does not require block release.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 4-9)
- Mathematics (grade 4-9)
