Summary
In Planning, you will support planning functions on allocated projects and contribute, as required. Assisting in verification of projects/ tenders to ensure alignment to define planning processes. Contributing with the Project Management function in the delivery of project, as required, ensuring they are delivered on time and profitably.

Monday - Thursday, 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday, 9.00am - 4.30pm. Due to the nature of construction you may be expected to work additional hours. Whilst working on site typical start time is at 8.00am instead of 9.00am.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Assists with developing detailed plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site/project constraints
- Interfaces with Project Team, contributes to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understands functional obligations under form of contract
- Reviews and captures productivity to measure progress
- Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Incorporates sustainable design and procurement processes within integrated programmes
- Challenges and ensures health and safety through programme integration
- Assists, establishes and oversees project work plans and deadlines
- Undertakes tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project / assignment

- You will work towards completing a five-year Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship, where you’ll achieve a HNC in Construction
- We’ll also support you in gaining professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- 5 subjects including Maths and English (grade 4/C)
- any subjects (grade 96 UCAS Points)
