Summary
This exciting apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge to be an effective Project Management Office Apprentice within the Bid and Project Management Function at Thales. The apprentice programme will provide a strong understanding and working knowledge of plan generation, scheduling, monitoring, control and general project management.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of the integrated master schedules for assigned projects
- Contribute to monthly project status reports and attend associated reviews
- Assist in the deployment & reporting of risk & opportunity management
- Help the project team ensuring correct and effective project delivery in accordance with Thales governance
- Develop a good working knowledge of Thales DIS (Digital Identity and Security) mandated tools including MS Project and JIR
- To attend training as required and pass all examinations and continuous learning modules as specified by the course

Your training plan
This is a 24 month programme working towards the Level 4 Project Manager Associate Apprenticeship standard. The programme will be delivered via a virtual delivery model, with live virtual workshops and 1-2-1 coaching calls. Upon successful completion of your End Point Assessment, you will roll off into the Thales UK Bid and Project Management job family.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- 5 GCSES incl Maths and English (grade 9-4 or A*-C)
- STEM subject advantageous (grade C or above (or equivalent))
