Summary

The 601 Club are looking for an enthusiastic, keen, flexible individual, with excellent communication skills, to join our small, dedicated team as an Apprentice Barista and Mixologist. You will be making and the preparation of a range of different coffees, plus more.

Annual wage
£11,648 a year

The apprentice will start on £6.40 per hour but this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Monday - Sunday, 8am - 11pm. Weekend work will be required. Actual hours and shifts will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

The role will include:

  • Making and the preparation of a range of different coffees
  • Serving alcoholic drinks
  • Creating cocktails
  • Stock rotation
  • Basic food preparation and cooking
  • Taking customer orders
  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Ensuring the cafe is kept impeccably clean at all times
  • Giving excellent customer service to all customers

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
