GP Acoustics Ltd manufacture transducers (speakers) from their 2,500m2 clean modern production facility based on Claydon Business Park, Great Blakenham. They are currently looking for an apprentice Quality Engineer to join and learn within their team.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Initial responsibilities shall include:
- Learning about our products and the build processes
- Enhancing our goods inward inspection
- Carry out in-process inspection and testing on our finished products.
As you grow into the role, it is expected you will:
- Learn more about quality management
- Become involved in non-conformance reporting and root cause analysis
- We will provide full training in relation to ISO9001 standard.
In this role you will become part of a small team and be mentored in all aspects of loudspeaker design, production and quality management. The role is designed to help us to further develop the quality department.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- Maths and English (grade 5)
- Science (grade 3)

Other requirements
A role in quality can be challenging but rewarding. We need to be disciplined in our approach to drive quality forward while maintaining working relationships. There will be manual work and possibly long periods of time (1-4hours) carrying out the same task.
