Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
As a Production & Electronic Assembly Apprentice, you will:
- Assemble, wire, and test both electro-mechanical and electronic equipment, including weighing indicators and related products.
- Gain hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, soldering, wiring, and configuring products.
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications to build and test various hardware.
- Operate in a regulated environment adhering to the company’s quality standards.
- Assist in fault finding and diagnosis during product testing and configuration.
- Participate in the installation of wiring and network setups, and help set up static-sensitive equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment defects.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the changing needs of the company and customers.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive workspace.
