Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Apprentice to join a busy and friendly team. You will develop your knowledge and experience of the processing and timely completion of the Purchase Ledger as well as assisting where needed with the wider finance team. You will be completing your Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship via Woodspeen.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- To investigate unallocated cash and to respond to purchase ledger supplier queries
- To be the main point of contact to resolve queries and to liaise with suppliers
- To be responsible for petty cash, reconciling it on a weekly basis
- To process weekly supplier invoices, matching to purchase orders
- To check price, product and quantity matches with purchase order
- To check and reconcile supplier statements
- To file invoices and statements
- To chase relevant paperwork
- To complete general admin duties, photocopying, posting supplier invoices, statements
- Provide general admin and finance support to the finance team ensuring that all work is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company

- The business administrator apprenticeship programme is designed to help you become an excellent contributor towards operational efficiencies within a business
- This will include interacting with both internal and external customers in a professional way, as well as applying skills learned throughout the programme within a business environment
- The programme will include various workshops to aid with your development throughout, alongside mentoring, reflection logs, PDP and much more
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve:
- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
- The training will be delivered on a weekly basis within the organisation

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)
