Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company as an arc welder reporting to the Welding Manager and studying for a General Welder Level 2 Apprenticeship. You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the welding function including document control, metrics & KPIs, records, maintenance.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
This role will suit someone who has a keen interest in becoming a welder with a genuine enthusiasm for learning the trade.
You will need to be prepared to handle high value components.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Collating information
- Helping to outline and document best practice processes
- Ensuring accuracy
- Keeping everything updated so it can be shared with various teams as appropriate

Other requirements
You spend 4 days on site and one day at college in Crawley so own transport would be an advantage. If you already have a Level 2 you can apply to train for a Level 3 instead. To be eligible for an apprenticeship you must be free from full time education.

Our Tesla facility in Storrington is responsible for designing and manufacturing an array of products including MRI gradient coils, resistive electromagnets and superconducting magnets. Apprentices may have an opportunity to move on to complete a higher level or study such as HNC/HND or Degree.
