Summary
The role we require the apprentice to work alongside the accounts assistant and financial controller so they must have an interest in this area of business. The person would be able to get involved with lots of other areas of administration duties within the business but the role with be based mainly within accounts department.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Accounts Support
- Inputting invoices onto the account’s software
- Inputting employee timesheet information onto the system ready for payroll
- Supplier payments and statement reconciliations
- Raising of Purchase Orders
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and deal with any discrepancies
- General purchase ledger and accounts receivable queries
- Querying any pricing errors
- Obtaining prices of materials from suppliers
- Ordering materials where necessary
- Organising deliveries
- Assisting with quotes
- Assisting with obtaining quotes for utilities, insurances and other business contracts.
- General Administration in other areas of the business
