RSK LDE are a leading Design Consultancy working with a large Client base formed mainly of the UK’s leading Housebuilders. The vacancy offers the candidate to work in a well-established office with a great reputation within the Engineering industry. They will be working closely with the Engineers in the team to learn and develop AUTO CAD skills.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Taking part of design team meetings and briefing on Monday mornings to discuss the workload for the week ahead.
- Drafting design drawings alongside the Engineers on various projects with different projects exposing the candidate to the various engineering requirements on each individual scheme.
- Once comfortable with the above the candidate will be exposed to design elements of the schemes where the Engineers will offer support and checking to liaise back to the candidate before issue to the Client.

Other requirements
The role is predominately office based in Pemberton Business Park in Wigan. Candidate may have the opportunity to attend site with an Engineer, however full PPE will be provided. The candidate will be mainly working on a computer for most of the day, however breaks throughout the day are encouraged.
