We are looking for a bookkeeping administrator to work at an established accounting firm based in Boston. You should be be highly organized and proactive. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Processing invoices and receipts
- Email monitoring
- Adhere to a high quality of work ethic
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Utilise accounting software such Sage for efficient record-keeping
- Filing paperwork
- Adhoc administrative tasks

- This flexible apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education and combines online learning with regular sessions with a college tutor
- Apprentices will learn foundation bookkeeping and accounting software skills
For the accounts or finance assistant, the qualification required is:
- AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
- Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Certificate in Bookkeeping
- Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and Business

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4)
- Maths (grade 4)

I have built the business up over the past 10 years and I have a close working relationship with all my clients . We are a small team who work closely together. We also work together with Penny Processor Accountants and will be launching a new Virtual Assistant business in 2024.
