Summary
LEYF provides training to complete a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, which includes fortnightly tutor-taught training alongside LEYF Enrichment sessions in line with the LEYF Pedagogy & Practices. The training lasts 12 -18 months. All apprentices receive LEYF staff benefits such as 70% off childcare & access to the staff discount portal.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Working alongside a committed nursery staff team in one of our 40 nurseries to support the development & wellbeing of the children
- Learning new skills such as making formula bottles or changing a nappy
- Setting up & creating provocations (activities) for the children that promote awe & wonder

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

- A first aid qualification in line with the requirements of the EYFS Framework

GCSE or equivalent in:

- Maths (grade 4 or C)
