Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- To undertake a Level 2 Finance qualification as part of the apprenticeship training programme
- To work flexibly in line with the finance team’s responsibilities.
- To ensure an understanding and compliance with Health and Safety and risk regulations within the team.
- To support the Finance & Payroll Officer in processing expense claims
- Correctly coding supplier invoices to departments and nominal codes
- To support with the Mileage tracker making sure this is kept up to date
- To learn the process of raising ad hoc and quarterly spot purchase invoices
- Dealing with any queries relating to spot purchases, running and re-sending reports
- To contribute to the development of good team working and undertake other appropriate duties as may be necessary.
- To participate in training, supervision and team meetings and undertake appropriate learning opportunities.
- Supporting the Finance & Payroll Officer in other duties as required
