Summary
Our Water and Wastewater team provide a range of utility infrastructure services for some of the UK’s largest network owners and operators. This role will work closely with our experienced planners who are responsible for ensuring each aspect of the project is robustly planned, programmed and communicated.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
This role will allow you to develop your construction technical knowledge, communication skills and expertise in the use of planning software.
As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing general administration support as requested by manager
- Assist with scheduling construction plans to ensure they are delivered safely, on budget and on time.
- Monitor progress against plans to ensure management have the information needed to make decisions to keep projects on track.
- Assist in the communication of plans and make a positive contribution to delivering projects safely, to the required standard on time and on budget.
- Provide updated planning records and information as required.
- Ensuring that the procedures and requirements as detailed within the Company Procedures and Quality Manual are implemented at all times
- Liaising with staff and operatives effectively and with respect
- Any other duties as assigned

Your training plan
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Business Administrator Level 3 qualification with one of our training partners. You will be fully supported through a variety of methods such as virtual workshops, learning materials, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.

GCSE in:
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade 4-9/C-A*)
