Summary

We are excited to be welcoming a Homeshub Apprentice to our team, working alongside us to provide day to day support the team along with all new and existing customers. You will actively participate in an organised programme of training leading towards the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Develop a good understanding of Affordable Home ownership
  • Develop a good understanding of Leasehold Management
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality service across a wide range of tenure and product types
  • Assist with “post sale” management of new leaseholders, shared owners and intermediate tenants to ensure they are fully aware of the services provided and their obligations
  • Support the sales process; dealing enquiries and assisting with the sales progression from reservation through to completion, within set timescales
  • Support and contribute to develop positive relationships with internal and external teams to support service excellence, particularly in relation to Plus Danes Homes and Communities directorates
  • Provide assistance and administrative support and to keep and maintain accurate records relative to the function of the team
  • Support the team to ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a prompt, timely and professional manner
  • Assist with performance monitoring
  • Make sure all work is aligned to the vision and values of Plus Dane
  • Adhere to processes in line with best practice / current legislation
  • Other duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time, within the level of this job description. To support in the provision of a comprehensive service for all Plus Dane sales and leasehold activity

  • Customer Service: Apply a range of customer service skills in order to provide a professional, accurate, timely, ethical and non-judgemental front line service which meets the needs of a diverse range of customers and stakeholders
  • Communication: Demonstrate appropriate communication skills to enable timely identification and/or resolution of issues for customers and appropriate signposting to other colleagues and/or partner agencies.
  • Collaborative working: Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to achieve individual, team and business targets.
  • Respond to vulnerability: Use skill and judgment to understand the needs of vulnerable individuals and groups(including those with complex needs) and respond appropriately
  • Information collection and sharing: Use a variety of methods to identify, collect and communicate technical and other information in a confident and effective manner.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills: Influence and negotiate with customers, partners and suppliers.
  • Self Management: Organise and plan their own work to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines met.

  • Tools and Equipment: Effective use of IT equipment and software, through administration and the appropriate use of work equipment
  • Decision making: Effective decision making in order to apply the businesses objectives and priorities.
  • Your training plan

    • Training will be provided by Kingdom Academy; you'll be working towards a level 3 Housing and property management apprenticeship standard
    • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
