Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Your key roles and responsibilities will include:
- Administrative Support: provide general administrative support to various departments within the company, including maintaining records, filing documents, and handling data entry tasks
- Customer Service: assist in addressing customer enquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Inventory Management: collaborate with the logistics team to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and assist in reconciling discrepancies
- Logistics Coordination: support logistics coordination efforts, such as scheduling deliveries, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Data Analysis: assist in gathering and analysing data related to logistics operations, allowing the company to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Documentation: assist in preparing and organising various logistics-related documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance paperwork
- Communication: maintain effective communication channels between different departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations
- Training and Development: participate in structured training programs to acquire knowledge of logistics procedures, software systems, and industry best practices
