Summary
We are seeking a motivated, organised and friendly individual to join our busy admin team. Our admin team is key to providing business support and due to the firm’s continued success we are looking to recruit a business administrator apprentice.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
This full-time role involves providing support to our existing admin team. The role will be varied and full training provided. Day-to-day you will be carrying out different tasks to assist reception, secretarial and our internal accounts team.
The role is office based and would suit an individual starting their career in admin/business support.
Job duties:
- Work closely with the other admin staff and support as needed
- Welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages where necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, scanning and distributing correspondence
- Carry out opening and closing routines for the office
- General typing such as letters and invoices
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Perform clerical duties such as filing; photocopying and scanning
- Diary management
- Opening electronic client files and maintaining client data
- Client onboarding
- Data entry to accounting software
- Assisting with credit control
- Other related duties as allocated by management
Essential skills and experience:
- Organisational skills
- Time management
- Computer literate and comfortable with using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Professional and friendly telephone manner
- Ability to work well alone or within a team, and within a team to take responsibility for assigned areas
- Typing skills, although not essential as full training will be given
