Summary
This is a full time and permanent position. In this role you will gain a Level 4 Apprenticeship standard, Civil Engineering qualification and will work with the design team to develop your skills and knowledge. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentor
- Producing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawings
- Assisting with design modifications to facilitate operations
- Making sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelines
- Ensuring all paperwork is up to date
- Maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated files
- Working with Lead Designers to improve skills in BricsCAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawings
- Receiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic management
- Completing all training associated with the apprenticeship

- Driving licence or at least taking driving lessons is essential.

GCSE in:

- Engineering or similar (grade pass)
