Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We are seeking a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team at Wheal Rose, Scorrier, Redruth, Cornwall, TR16 5DE.
Gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic office environment. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop essential administrative skills while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.
- To work with and assist our expanding existing office based team to carry out the production and maintenance of KPI spreadsheets and assist with the presentation to our end client.
- To assist with general office duties such as filing, processing of operatives' weekly timecards, handling client phone calls, maintaining contract managers' diaries, handling incoming deliveries, ordering of stationary for our site-based teams, ordering and monitoring PPE.
- Assist with general office duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Support the administrative team in coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Assist with basic financial tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects to support business objectives.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training plan
You will be working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard.
You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an Apprenticeship advisor.
You will be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell on a fortnightly basis as part of the apprenticeship training.
Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date.

GCSE in:
