Summary
We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our dispensing team in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Dispensing of medication to patients
Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
Check and monitor prescription slips
Health & Safety Responsibility
Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines
Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
Data Entry relating to medication
Labelling and Dispensing
Accuracy and Attention to detail
Numerate
Working within a team environment
Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals

Ryan’s Pharmacy is an online pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and operates under UK registered pharmacists. We offer comprehensive dispensing services to NHS and private patients. We also provide dispensing and medication management services to care homes. As a new patient, you can simply nominate us for electronic prescriptions so your prescriptions come directly to us. We will dispense the medication and post it to you. If you have a paper prescription from a doctor or dentist, you can post us the prescription and we will dispense and dispatch the medication to you. Our team is always available to answer any queries that you might have about your medication or condition. Simply complete the contact us form with your query or call us. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible. Our registered pharmacy premises are not open to the public to visit in person.
