Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
During the programme, you will build knowledge on the legalisation and regulations in the food and drink industry including an understanding of
- Food Safety
- Health & Safety
- Hazard analysis and critical control points
- Basic principles of environmental legalisation
- Basic principles of microbiology: common food pathogens, toxins & food hygiene
- Basic principles of soft drink chemistry, nutrition
- How to carry out sensory analysis
- How to collect, interpret and analysis data and complete documentation
