Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Supporting care routines
- Providing stimulating activities for children
- From outdoor play to reading stories
- To supervise and extend children's play and their interests
- To be involved in the assessment of children's development and dealing with parents

About this company
Welcome to Brook House Farm Nursery, open since 1990 and still operated and managed by one of the original owners. The nursery provides a loving and caring environment for children from 6 months to 5 years. It is housed in a converted Tudor farmhouse in the heart of the Poynton community. The nursery stands in a third of an acre, providing a large outdoor play space for children to learn and explore. The fun packed areas include a mud kitchen, lawned areas, dens and much more too inspire learning opportunities for your child.
