Apprentice Teaching Assistant. Training in delivering in lesson in a primary school as well as some in house training. Supporting teachers in class and around the school, possibly with a child with complex needs.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support the class teacher to develop and support with the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom
- Support the children with complex needs
- The job will involve helping young children with their personal care
- Commit at all times to the safeguarding and protection of children and young people
- To support coach to maintain high quality behaviour
- To support the teacher to maintain high expectations of students and ensure that teaching materials and tasks are appropriate, with opportunities created for stretch and challenge at all levels
- To ensure equipment is set up and ready for use in lessons
- To assist at fundraising activities
- Any other duties deemed reasonable by the Principal
