Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and adaptive Software Developer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for liaising closely with all departments and capturing and documenting user requirements. Supporting both internal and external customers.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Design and produce complete software solutions for internal and external customers to provided specifications
- Assist Head of Development in the creation and maintenance of all documentation updated including, Requirement capture, agreed Statement of Works (including risks and costs), Project Plan, timeline, Defined Deliverables, User Acceptance Testing and Customer sign off
- Review and analyse design decisions to ensure they are the best choice for each project
- Help the wider team to solve problems with software solutions
- Manage and complete product backlogs for applications managed by the software development team
- Carry out and maintain software deployments to both cloud environments and on-premises servers
- Ensure all code is fully documented, including full change log and version control and linked to project tasks
- Creating automated unit test processes for code the team has written
- Identify, document, and communicate potential risks
