Summary
The Apprentice Level 7 is a developmental position within the CBS Accounting Services Team. In this apprenticeship you will work 5 days a week, inclusive of 1 day a week for study at Kaplan Financial. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a professional accountancy qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Completing Month End Activities to assist with production of monthly financial statements.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external and internal customers, other finance disciplines and work teams.
- Cost analysis and preparation of variance explanations through investigation and communication with the wider business.
- Assist with the monthly forecasting process for CBS Europe.
- Make accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the team.
