Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a supply chain apprentice. You'll provide support in line with core business needs within a fast-paced heavy maintenance production environment. The role involves working closely with customers both internally and externally, to assist with controlling and expediting materials on-site.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support with the materials interface responsible for coordinating and expediting materials, parts and assemblies across different sites and locations
- Assist with Perpetual, weekly, monthly audits
- Compile and maintain computerised records, including consumable material inventory and expediting supply chain as required
- Assist with ordering materials using SAP, Epicor and the 1 Hour Process
- Attend daily Communication Hub meetings
- Assist with material related issues
- Cover for colleagues within the department, as and when required
- Collate performance related data

- In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ 3 Supply Chain Practitioner qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the business processes and procedures
- Our training is delivered remotely via teams and face to face, with a development coach who will be available for support
- You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English and maths (grade 4)
