Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Reception / Clerical Work – booking and managing appointments, answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
- Pre-screening patients – Carrying out pre-examinations prior to a sight test using automated state of the art medical equipment
- Dispensing Glasses – The fitting and measuring of spectacles with patients, and offering quality style advise
- Reviewing and ensuring patient’s orders are accurate and delivered on time
