Summary
Propipe manufactures and supplies a wide range of pipeline pigs and pipeline plugs to leading offshore and onshore companies. There is currently an opportunity within the company for a Mechanical Design Engineer Apprentice where you will provide assistance in preparing operational manuals, engineering studies & datasheets amongst much more.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working within the engineering/projects department, the position is a flexible role, ensuring involvement in all aspects/products within the business. The role would involve:
- Creating design models & production drawings using Solidworks (3D) OR AutoCAD (2D) for both concept designs and existing products.
- Assistance in preparing operational manuals, engineering studies & datasheets
- Assembly of products – assisting the project at the build stage
- Testing of products (i.e. pressure testing, function testing) to confirm client specification.

GCSE in:
