Summary

A motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst will support the data and operations teams in maintaining and improving the use of Joblogic, our core operational system. The successful apprentice will assist with data input, system integrity, reporting, and process improvement, while also working towards a recognised data analysis qualification.

What you’ll do at work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Joblogic system
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency within the system by regularly auditing records, identifying quality issues, and supporting data cleansing initiatives
  • Support the creation and distribution of operational and performance reports, working closely with various departments to gather and understand their data needs
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve the quality and timeliness of data entry
  • Troubleshoot and escalate system issues with the relevant stakeholders or Joblogic support
  • Work with the data team to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation to improve efficiency
  • Assist in developing clear and accurate documentation, including user guides and best practices for Joblogic. Maintain records of procedures, findings, and data definitions to support system consistency and user understanding
  • Assist in gathering, organising, and analysing data from a variety of sources
  • Maintain and update dashboards and reports for internal teams

You will learn to use business intelligence tools and databases (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).

  • apply organizational architecture requirements to data analysis activities
  • apply statistical methodologies to data analysis tasks
  • apply predictive analytics in the collation and use of data
  • collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders using appropriate styles and behaviours to suit the audience
  • use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data
  • collate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and convert into infographics, reports, tables, dashboards and graphs

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • any 3 subjects (grade 4+ (A*-C))
  • English (grade 4+ (A*-C))
  • Maths (grade 4+ (A*-C))
