Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

Your main duties will include:

Engineering Manufacturing Doors and Windows
Using lean processes to reduce waste and to help the environment
Use of a CNC machine, programming of the machines
Manufacturing to customer specific specifications
Potentially some fabrication and welding
Manufacturing from scratch, creating customer specific orders

Plus Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and english if required
