Summary
The apprenticeship will be sheet Metal Fabrication orientated to include day release one day a week at Bournemouth and Poole College. The apprenticeship will cover all the core Knowledge, skills and behaviour requirements needed to work in the fabrication and welding industry.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
The apprentice will be assisting with all types of operations in the workshop. This will include:
- Cutting
- Drilling
- Tapping
- Deburring
- Folding and assembly

Functional Skills in English and maths up to Level 2.
The training will take place at Poole College BH14 0LS and RJW Sheet Metal Ltd BH22 7NP. Training will be one day a week at Poole College. Four days at RJW Sheet Metal Ltd Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

GCSE or equivalent in:
