Salary review meetings will be completed and based on the apprentices performance throughout the qualification. For the right candidate Miganglia can offer regular wage increases.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Repairing, maintaining, servicing, and testing of welding and cutting equipment
- Wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits
- Carrying out safety testing of various electrical equipment
- Assembling and testing new welding and cutting system packages
- Repairing and servicing of fume extraction equipment
- Maintaining electrical wiring support systems
- Carrying out software updates/upgrades
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Ensuring all items are fitted to the highest standards using the correct fixings and pass checks
- Working to Health and Safety standards as set out in regulations and by the company

Your training plan
- Training will be with us - Swarm REAGIT
- The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician
- All apprentices taking part in the level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Standard will spend 20 weeks at the Swarm REAGIT centre in Norwich from February 2025
- After these 20 weeks the apprentice will then attend the site 1 day per week for 72 weeks to complete the developing knowledge element of the apprenticeship
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English and Maths (grade Grade C/4 or above)
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
The apprentice will need a full UK driver’s licence or reliable transport with under an hour travel to Southrepps.
