Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Apprenticeship Training: Follow a structured learning path in IT Solutions, progressing to L3 IT Solutions Technician standard.
  • Field Work: Travel to customer sites and data centres, supporting hardware, software, and network solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handle escalations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Commissioning Solutions: Work on the delivery and implementation of high-end IT systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to team collaboration and enhance knowledge across the business.

Your training plan

  • Fully funded L3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship with HPE CDS and LearnTech.
  • Typical duration to gateway: 13 months (followed by up to 3 months for the End Point Assessment (EPA) period)
  • Apprenticeship level: Advanced (Level 3)
  • Programme: IT Solutions Technician

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly live remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician standard.

Mobile Role – Full Driving Licence Required. Right to Work in the UK: Must be a UK/EEA resident for the last 3 years. Security Clearances: Candidates may need to undergo background checks. Out of Hours Work: Flexibility to work outside regular hours and join an on-call rota after meeting required skills.
