Summary

Zapi design, build, test and repair complex systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. Our business is expanding so we need to grow our team accordingly. This apprenticeship would provide a solid platform, from which to build an exciting career in the Electric vehicle Industry.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Training in panel wiring and building.
  • Training in repairing inverters, motors and battery chargers.
  • Understanding electrical schematics.
  • Repairing units, under supervision.
  • Assisting with assembly of control systems.
  • Should be able to test and repair with minimal supervision.
  • Further training with documentation and controls.
  • Involvement in development projects, assisting with the design and build of test equipment.

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:
