Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The Role As a Warehouse Operative in a fast-paced environment, you will be a key part of our warehouse team, handling a range of essential tasks to support clinical trials globally. This is more than an average pick-and-pack role; you will engage in all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and quality in the medical field. From inventory control to product inspection, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to provide reliable medical equipment. This is a great opportunity and offers the added benefit of being a Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm role offering a great work life balance.
Key Responsibilities
• Pick and Pack Orders: Ensure accurate, efficient preparation and dispatch of medical equipment, supporting the global distribution for clinical trials
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Administration: Log activities in WMS to ensure actions are recorded and tracked effectively
• Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and testing on equipment before dispatch and upon return, adhering to quality and safety standards
• Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, provide updates to stakeholders, and maintain clear communication with team members and customer-facing staff
• General Warehouse Duties: Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment, accurately manage stock, and contribute to effective inventory control

- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
