Small café seeks its next hero! We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join Heaven Coffee House as an Apprentice Hospitality Team Member. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy café environment while working towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Assist with food and drink preparation in line with
hygiene and safety regulations. - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a
welcoming atmosphere. - Gain experience in stock management and maintaining
café cleanliness. - Take orders, process payments, and handle customer
queries. - Develop barista skills, including coffee preparation and
latte art. - Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily
operations. - Learn about different aspects of hospitality, including
food safety, communication, and teamwork.

Your training plan
- You will be pursuing a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard as a Hospitality Team Member.
- As part of this program, you will attend college as instructed by the training provider, and an assessor will conduct on-site observation to evaluate you progress.
- At the conclusion of your program, your qualification will be assessed through an End Point Assessment.

About this company
Heaven Coffee House has been open nearly two years. We are primarily an independent coffee house, serving high quality specialty coffee alongside gorgeous cake. We are very community oriented with a number of initiatives for the community already in action and more to come. The village really enjoys our monthly Open Mic night. Following expansion of kitchen facilities, we are now beginning a lunch service. We are continuing to expand and develop as we establish ourselves in the village and beyond.
