Summary

The expectation of the Engineering Apprentice is to engage with the engineering team to carry out PPM tasks, make data driven improvements, carry out reactive maintenance and improve throughout.

£16,629.60 a year

8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday - Thursday. 8.00am - 3.00pm, Friday.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Developing/showcasing engineering skills across a range of key comptencies, these include electrical, mechanical, automation, fabrication and C.I.

Daily activities include:

Planned maintenance
Reactive manaintance
H&S related improvements
Using C.I Tools
Cross departmental meetings
Cost saving/ OEE Improvement projects
Supporting coaching and upskilling on non engineering team members
Record keeping - BRC compliance

GCSE or equivalent in:

Maths, English and Science (grade 5)
