Summary
Our apprenticeship program provides a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. You will engage in a variety of tasks such as creating frameworks and wireframes for website design, reviewing and refining website text content, curating materials, and managing social media posts for clients.

Subsequently depending on the workload and performance pay will be increased to £10 an hour, upwards to £12 an hour on line manager’s discretion.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Creating Frameworks and Wireframes: Designing the basic structure and layout for websites.
- Reviewing and Refining Website Content: Ensuring the text content on websites is accurate, engaging, and aligned with client requirements.
- Curating Materials: Selecting and organising content and resources for various projects.
- Managing Social Media Posts: Handling the creation, scheduling, and posting of content on social media platforms for clients
- Text / essay review: Extend and summarise the sentences

- Interpret the aims of the brief.
- Research ideas and concepts to meet the brief.
- Evaluate brand requirements and brand guidelines.
- Prepare a mood board or other visual aid for the content to be created.
- Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed.
- Storyboard and outline script their ideas for content to be developed.
- Interpret data, consider its integrity and use it to inform content.
- Develop accessible written content for different platforms and devices.
- Apply best practice and inclusive language when creating content.
- Write and edit copy or scripts for use on different channels and platforms.
- Create or capture visuals and audio using standard packages and equipment.
- Source, obtain and prepare media assets for use; using industry standard packages to adapt and edit content.
- Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval.
- Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
- Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
- Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
- Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.
- Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns.
- Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs.
- Operate effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines.

Your training plan
Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- The training for our apprenticeship program is designed to be immersive and hands-on, ensuring that apprentices gain practical experience and develop their skills in a real-world environment
- Training will take place at our work environment on a day-to-day basis, allowing apprentices to integrate learning with their daily tasks seamlessly. This approach eliminates the need for travel to other locations, making the training process more convenient and focused.
- The Creative Director, will oversee the department, ensuring that the training aligns with our overall goals and standards. However, the apprentice will report directly to their immediate line manager for day-to-day guidance and support
- This structure ensures that the apprentice receives personalised mentorship and supervision, facilitating their growth and development throughout the apprenticeship
- Training will be continuous and integrated into the apprentice's daily responsibilities
- This means that every task and project they undertake will be an opportunity to learn and apply new skills. By working closely with experienced professionals and receiving regular feedback, the apprentice will be able to refine their abilities and gain confidence in their role

Other requirements
Location and Commute: Our office is located at the city centre – Monocle, Hull, which is easily accessible by public transport. Candidates should consider the commute and ensure they can reliably travel to and from the office on a daily basis. Physical Aspects/Challenges: The role primarily involves working at a desk with a computer, so candidates should be comfortable with extended periods of screen time. Additionally, there may be occasional requirements to move around the office or attend meetings, but no heavy physical labour is involved. Work Environment: Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, which requires adaptability and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates should be prepared for a collaborative setting where teamwork and communication are key. Technical Requirements: Basic proficiency with digital tools and platforms is essential. Candidates should be comfortable using software for website design, content creation, and social media management.
