Summary

We are the Sales & Marketing Headquarters for Nissan in the UK. It is our aim to ensure that the Nissan brand and product portfolio are successfully communicated in order for us to maintain our strong presence in the UK marketplace. The role covers all aspects of the HR spectrum including and not limited to HR data analysis.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Preparation of all regular reports and Carry out data analysis for HR different functions including:
a. Monthly KPI dashboard
b. Recruitment quarterly dashboard
c. GES yearly report analysis
d. Attrition analysis
e. Health and safety analysis
f. Adhoc reporting

  • Maintain HR records, PO and general affairs support
  • Verifying accuracy of data
  • Support on the talent acquisition and talent management activities
  • Support on onboarding and employee engagement process
  • Work closely with the facility team to ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Adhoc responsibilities as required from the management
  • You will be dealing with the data that comes through the HR department at Nissan

  • Source and migrate data from already identified different sources.
  • Collect, format and save datasets.
  • Summarise and explain gathered data.
  • Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
  • Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
  • Audit data results.
  • Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
  • Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
  • Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
  • Explain data and results to different audiences in a way that aids understanding.
  • Review own development needs.
  • Keep up to date with developments in technologies, trends and innovation using a range of sources.
  • Clean data i.e. remove duplicates, typos, duplicate entries, out of date data, parse data (e.g. format telephone numbers according to a national standard) and test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity.
  • Operate as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Prioritise within the context of a project.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Data Technician level 3 apprenticeship standard.
You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4/C and above)
  • Math (grade Up to 4/C)
