Summary

We are looking for an outgoing, people person to join our wonderful cafe team. You will be taking orders, making drinks, serving food and most importantly, engaging with our customers, making them feel welcome and at home.

Initially working hours will be Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work available. Within the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Making hot drinks and milkshake
  • Handling money
  • Serving at tables
  • Working as part of the team

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • Training will be a mixture of online and on site tuition
  • One day a week will be provided for training, this will be flexible and could involve one whole day or part days to make one day
  • NVQ level 2 Hospitality team member
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required

  • English (grade 4)
  • maths (grade 4)
