What you’ll do at work
For over 35 years, Drurys Engineering have developed a high performance culture of precision engineering in the UK. During that time they have achieved an unrivalled reputation for providing high quality products in some of the most demanding industries. All of their machining is undertaken in-house which means they are able to undertake specialist operations such as fine-limit grinding, CNC machining and spark erosion. Their manufacturing service can provide everything from the simplest of machined parts to project-managed assemblies. Substantial ongoing investment in state-of-the-art machinery, equipment, advanced CAD/CAM systems and plant enables them to provide the quality and service demanded by the market. Their state-of-the-art CNC machining capabilities include precision Milling, Turning and Wire EDM.
You will be developed utilising the most advanced equipment covering CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and EDM (Electro Discharge Machining), by their highly skilled workforce based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. The role will include learning all aspects of the manufacturing process, programming/ setting/ operating/inspection, and will also include mechanical assembly and final inspection.
