Year1 training is based at Gloucestershire Engineering Training acquiring a L2 NVQ Diploma along with year1 of your Technical Certificate. Year2 will be working in company based in Stonehouse. Developing product, process & analytical knowledge. Also attending GET 1 day a week to continue working towards your Technical Certificate & begin NVQ L3.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- To assist and work under the guidance of skilled Technicians and Engineers in carrying out the manufacture of diesel injectors and their components
- Study towards the Level Three Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship programme
- To attend Gloucestershire Engineering Training (G.E.T.) for first year studies and day release thereafter for the duration of the apprenticeship
- Participation in all training initiatives specific to the post holder’s duties
- Undertake work with increasing independence as the apprenticeship and skill set progresses
- To participate in all departmental activities, rotating with shift team upon graduation
- Successfully complete all End Point Assessment activities

This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.

- This will see you deployed into a highly skilled team within the operational unit and tasked with providing essential technical support and guidance to the manufacturing lines to enable them to meet expected manufacturing output targets
