Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

Receiving, checking, and accurately logging incoming stock deliveries.
Picking and packing orders with precision to ensure timely dispatch.
Loading and unloading goods safely using appropriate handling techniques.
Maintaining warehouse organisation, ensuring stock is stored correctly and in designated areas.
Conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
Using internal systems to update stock levels and track orders.
Assisting with the safe operation of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Keeping the warehouse clean and hazard-free, following health and safety procedures.
Working closely with all departments to ensure smooth workflow and excellent service to our customers.
Handling customer returns and ensuring they are processed correctly.
Assisting with loading for the delivery team when required.
Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Record errors which arise from all departments to help improve systems and process's.
Use digital forms to help communicate processes.
Achieve KPI's set by the company.
Work in harmony with other team members, communicating in a professional respectful manner to ensure a seamless workflow.

Requirements

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

English and maths (grade A*-C or 9-4 or equivalent)
