Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Receiving, checking, and accurately logging incoming stock deliveries.
- Picking and packing orders with precision to ensure timely dispatch.
- Loading and unloading goods safely using appropriate handling techniques.
- Maintaining warehouse organisation, ensuring stock is stored correctly and in designated areas.
- Conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Using internal systems to update stock levels and track orders.
- Assisting with the safe operation of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and hazard-free, following health and safety procedures.
- Working closely with all departments to ensure smooth workflow and excellent service to our customers.
- Handling customer returns and ensuring they are processed correctly.
- Assisting with loading for the delivery team when required.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Record errors which arise from all departments to help improve systems and process's.
- Use digital forms to help communicate processes.
- Achieve KPI's set by the company.
- Work in harmony with other team members, communicating in a professional respectful manner to ensure a seamless workflow.

- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.

Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English and maths (grade A*-C or 9-4 or equivalent)
