Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Assemble/fit components guided by technical drawings
- Populate panel components guided by technical drawings, and e-drawing instructions within defined time limits
- Wire machines completely to a high standard
- Repair, maintain, and test equipment and machinery if needed remove/repair components to return its operational condition
- Assist in improving methods and productivity
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards as set out in regulations and by the company

Training will be with Swarm REAGIT. The apprentice will work towards the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician. Apprentices will spend 20 weeks at the Swarm REAGIT in Norwich from September 2025. After these initial 20 weeks, the apprentice will attend the site 1 day per week for 72 weeks to complete the developing knowledge element of the apprenticeship.

GCSE in:
- English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)
