Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Carry out equipment Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) under supervision
- Equipment breakdown support and minimising downtime activities, under supervision
- Implement Corrective And Preventative Actions (CAPA)
- Provide support for general site facilities maintenance, under supervision
- Updating of SOPs and WRKs
- Support small capital expenditure projects
- Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the department and business activities

- The apprentice will train within the workplace with a designated Engineering mentor 4 days per week
- The apprentice will study 1 day per week at Leeds City College - Print Works Campus
