Summary

Harling Wood Stud in Thetford are looking for a new member of staff to add to their team, boasting some of the finest facilities along with first class service in their livery and equestrian wellness centre. You would be working with top class competition horses and ones needing rehabilitation.

Wage

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Working days will be Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, split shifts 7.30am to 12.30pm and then 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out and bringing in
  • Field maintenance
  • Grooming, tacking up
  • Possibility of riding for right candidate

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Your training plan

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • A Level 2 certificate will be awarded on successful completion of your apprenticeship
  • All training will take place within the workplace
  • Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks
