Anmore Dressage and head rider Jezz Palmer are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an upbeat personality and a keen eye for detail to join their team as an Equine Groom Apprentice.

Wage

£17,667 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

All normal yard duties to include :

  • Mucking out
  • Grooming / tacking up
  • Turning in and out
  • Preparing horses for competition
  • possibility of going to shows for right candidate

Your training plan

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

  • A Level 2 certificate will be awarded on successful completion of your apprenticeship
  • All training will take place within the workplace
  • Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks
